Tour Details
Your tour begins in the bustling capital of India. A private driver will greet you at the Delhi airport or railway station and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure — ideal for settling in or taking an optional walk in Connaught Place or India Gate.
Dive into the rich tapestry of India’s capital with your local guide. Begin with a visit to Qutub Minar, a 12th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by Humayun’s Tomb, often considered the architectural precursor to the Taj Mahal. Drive past the colonial grandeur of India Gate and Parliament House before exploring the spiritual side with a stop at Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India.
Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the chaotic charm of Chandni Chowk, Delhi's iconic old market. Wrap up your day with photo stops at Red Fort and Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Agra, the city of eternal love. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and get ready to witness the highlight of the day — the Taj Mahal, a marvel in white marble that needs no introduction.
In the afternoon, explore Agra Fort, the former seat of Mughal power. Later, visit Mehtab Bagh, the Moonlight Garden, which offers postcard-perfect views of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River. End the day at the charming Baby Taj – Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, noted for its delicate inlay work.
Leave for Jaipur after breakfast, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of Emperor Akbar. This red sandstone ghost city features awe-inspiring monuments like Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, and Jodha Bai’s Palace.
Today is packed with heritage and vibrant colors. Start at the majestic Amber Fort, set atop a hill and rich with intricate courtyards, mirrored halls (Sheesh Mahal), and royal apartments. Pause at Jal Mahal, the dreamy Water Palace floating in the center of Man Sagar Lake.
Later, explore the architectural wonder Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO site housing ancient astronomical instruments. Continue to the opulent City Palace, which still serves as a royal residence, and don’t miss the Hawa Mahal, known for its pink sandstone lattice windows that once allowed royal ladies to observe street festivities unnoticed.
This morning, travel to the lesser-known but stunning Shekhawati region, particularly the town of Mandawa. Famed for its ornate havelis, Shekhawati is a paradise for architecture lovers and storytellers.
You’ll visit the fresco-filled homes in Nawalgarh, followed by an exploration of Mandawa’s traditional mansions that showcase incredible Rajput artistry.
Spend the day walking through the living gallery of Mandawa. From Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli to the Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, each doorway and corridor is alive with color, mythological scenes, and history. Also visit the Mandawa Fort, now a heritage hotel, offering sweeping views and preserved Rajput décor.
This slower-paced day provides the perfect contrast to the busy cities you've explored.
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi through the heartland of Rajasthan. Our driver will drop you at your hotel, the airport, or any location of your choice in Delhi, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
